Sat Nav users, beware, many systems do not use tow-friendly routes from Dorchester to Bagwell.  To avoid getting into a scrape or tight-squeeze we recommend you use conventional maps to plan your journey from Dorchester onwards.  Sat Nav may also indicate that you have reached your destination on arrival at the edge of our postcode area.  You may need to keep going for half a mile or so until you see us.

Bagwell Farm is off the B3157 West of Weymouth, between Chickerell and Portesham.  Approach via the A354 from Dorchester to Weymouth.  From the outskirts of Weymouth follow signs for Abbotsbury, Weymouth and the  B3157.  Bagwell is a mile past Chickerell on the left  at the top of the hill after “The Victoria Inn”.

Also reachable from the West via Bridport and Portesham.

Weymouth has rail links to London and Bristol.
The X53 bus runs the length of the Heritage Coast and stops at the “Victoria Inn”, where there is a footpath to Bagwell.  We are also easily found from the South West Coast Path.

The London 2012 Olympic Games will be held in London from 27 July to 12 August 2012, followed by the Paralympic Games from 29 August to 9 September 2012. The sailing competitions for both these events are to be held in Weymouth and Portland.

Bagwell Farm Touring Park is just five miles from Weymouth Sands, where there will be free-to-enter events and activities. Bagwell Farm is also five miles from the Nothe Gardens and eight and a half miles from the National Sailing Academy. These are the main ticket-only areas.
