“Stayed here for 3 nights in our camper for the first time. What a lovely place. Spotless toilets and showers and outstanding views. Check in was easy with easy directions to our pitch. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had no children with us and our pitch was directly opposite the play area. At no point did we find it to be noisy or a hassle. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to return next year for 10 days. Thank you Bagwell for showing us a new lease of life!”

“This was our first time out this year in our new caravan . The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Underfloor heating in the toilets and showers. The shop was very well stocked with everything you could think of!! The whole site was very clean and tidy.
Dogs had their own huge field to play in too. We had a 'super' pitch with electric, water, grey waste drain and tv point.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
The Red Barn Food facility on site was not open yet.
Well situated and easy reach to Weymouth, Chesil Beach, Charmouth and surrounding areas.”

“Enjoyed our stay so much we added three extra nights. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location with lovely views over Chesil Beach and great sunsets. Lots of walks directly from the site and just a short walk to the bus stop for the Jurassic coast bus to explore the area without taking motorhome out. Excellent, modern shower and toilet block, one of the nicest we've seen on sites. Can fully recommend the site.”

“We stayed here over the whitsun bank holiday weekend as a last minute booking luckily they had space, all we have to say is what a fab site, friendly staff, clean site, clean toilets/showers and lovely restaurant, not forgetting the view to the lagoon and Chesil Beach, we would have walked down but our dog was unwell so we have saved that for another trip. “Our first experience under canvas was a real treat at Bagwell Farm. Facilities were spotless and first class, pace was relaxed and friendly and the location for walking and sightseeing is perfect.
We took our Boxer dog Hattie for her first holiday with us and the dog walking area and Coastway walk were brilliant.
We all came home very relaxed and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

“This is the first time we have used a campsite with our motorhome and we were very highly satisfied with the site. The toilets and showers were spotless. The shop staff were very helpful and when we had a problem with our bike the handyman lent us some tools. We found a lovely carvery in Weymouth for £5.95 at a pub called the Spyglass inn which was dog friendly so we could take our 3 dogs in with us.Also In Weymouth there is a Aldi, Lidl, Sainsburys and morrisons. We look forward to going there again soon.”

“Being a "first time" camper didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised how easy as backpackers getting off the bus and walking to the site was. We were very impressed with the very helpful ladies when checking in, nothing was too much trouble. The toilet and bathroom facilities were first rate and was very impressed how many times a day they were attended to by the site cleaning staff, they deserve a huge pat on the back for how clean these areas were. The site was very quiet, and all other campers were very respectful of their neighbours. The only thing we would suggest as backpackers, and not being able to carry huge amounts of equipment would be the provision of scattered picnic style tables which we could sit at to eat near our tent, or maybe provision could be made to hire tables and chairs from the site, but this is a minor issue and did not spoil our stay on the camp, which was great. We are looking forward to booking our next visit to Bagwell Farm in 2014.”

“What can I add to the other glowing reviews except to agree with them all. On arrival, the staff are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The pitches are well maintained, large and very adequate for caravan, awning and car. All facilities are clean and work well; any repairs are dealt with speedily. A beautiful area for walking, either direct from the farm to the South West Coast Path or lots of other walks further afield in this wonderful area of Dorset. A good bus service along the coast. All in all a superbly run and maintained campsite suitable for families and couples alike.”

“We've just got back from a 4 night stay at Bagwell Farm, and would like to say that we had a wonderful stay.
The campsite was very quiet and peaceful, and the showers/toilets were good enough for us.
The shop was fantastic. It's very small, but it's amazing how much is in store! VERY useful. Seriously, it made us very happy campers :) Staff were extremely friendly too.
We only had one problem and that was that the bar shut earlier than stated so we were unable to get any dinner. I assume this was because there was no customers, so actually we didn’t mind at all. Cant expect the site to stay open for us only.

“Just got back from 2 fantastic weeks staying at Bagwell Farm. One of the best sites I have stopped at ever!!! Very well presented, very clean, the toilets were like five star hotels!!! The shop is very well stocked with everything you can think of. Lovely walk from bottom of site to Weymouth one way and Abbotsbury the other way.
